DOS Flash Utilities


Flshlite.exe - Use locally or with a Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) 
management application (e.g. Altiris eXpress) to update or restore the 
System BIOS. 

AssignPW.exe - Use with Flshlite.exe to assign a password to the flash.  See 
Flshlite.txt on usage.

NOTE:  A BIOS update may be done using these utilities from legacy floppy drive, 
a USB floppy, or a USB flash media device.  Copy all the files in this folder to 
a DOS bootable media.  Make sure the media you want to boot from is connected to 
the computer to be upgraded and power cycle the computer.  When the computer 
boots to the desired media, the flash may be performed.  See the file DOSFM.txt 
for instructions on creating a bootable USB flash media device.
