  BlackICE Defender's major attraction is its ability to protect users   
  from the hacks that can happen in the open world of the Internet. These
  specific features are as follows:                                      

  Configurable protection levels.  BlackICE Defender can be configured   
  to various system protection postures--from "Trusting" to "Paranoid".  
  At the "Trusting" protection level, your system will connect or be     
  connected to as it has in the past.  At the "Paranoid" protection level,
  BlackICE Defender will keep any attacker from connecting to your        
  computer.  There are a couple more levels of protection in between--    
  namely "Cautious" and "Nervous".  Please review the on-line help        
  before changing protection levels.                                      

  Automated Internet Protocol (IP) address blocking.  BlackICE Defender   
  has the capability to completely block hackers from connecting to       
  your system.  In the event that a hacker performs a serious attack on   
  your computer, BlackICE Defender will immediately block all             
  communications from that hacker's attacking machine.
